Ten of the Teacher Centres offer training through the Vodacom Youth Academy. Unemployed youth can come into the centres for free skills training. The Youth Academy is run in partnership with CISCO, Microsoft, the Independent Development Trust (IDT) and Mict-Seta. The programme offers skills development training in both Cisco and Microsoft, focussing on IT (Cisco ITE; A+, N+ and Microsoft).
Our target market is out-of-school youth, or undergraduates, with Grade 12 certificates (Matric), having passed Mathematics, Science and English - first or second language.
